The Gang of Angels are a 10 strong Choir that was originally formed from a group of Singers that have known each other since they were in a youth choir as teenagers (which dispanded in 2000).
 On a chance offer of a gig to a local Singer Songwriter called Honey Williams (now Choir Director, who is a Singer in her own right, having worked with respected UK artists such as Roni Size, Rodney P, Klashnekoff) was asked if she knew of a choir that could sing at a gig. Alas Honey did not know of any choirs but quickly rounded up a few old choir members and they agreed to do the gig. Honey quickly created vocal arrangements and whilst rehearsing for the gig they noticed that their voices together produced a beautiful sound together and blended so well. At the venue a man walked past and heard us singing and said to the choir “You lot sound like a gang of angels you do!” the name stuck!

The idea of the choir was to bring a diverse mix of unique and talented Singers together to create a visually striking, choir that was musically and culturally diverse and distinctive as its members.
 The choir sing all genres of music with a contemporary experimental soulful twist, both original songs and rare covers. The G.O.A. have performed all over the country and also individually have much experience of performing. The G.O.A. have also recently calloborated with artists such as Scorzayzee (UK Rapper/ Actor), Jugganaut (Rapper), Debris (Poet). They are also in the process of writing new music, going into the studio to record and planning to take over the world.
