Hannah Jane Walker
Hannah Jane Walker is a poet, performer and project manager based in Norwich. Her poems have been described as lyrical, muscular and acerbic.
She studied literature at the University of East Anglia and a poetry MA at Newcastle University.
Last year she made a solo show, ‘This is just to say’, an interactive show about apologising set around a table with wine for an audience of 12, it showed in Edinburgh 2010 as part of Forest Fringe. The show is currently touring.
Hannah performs her poems at festivals and events around the UK including Latitude, Truck, Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Shunt. She co-runs Norwich Poetry Club, manages arts projects, writes articles and runs creative writing workshops. Her first published intro is out with Nasty Little Press, she is also working with visual artist Luke Emery on a book of apologies which have been offered by the audience during the show ‘This is just to say’.
